“Flooring is easily overlooked, since it’s covered by furniture or area rugs and outshone by eye-catching lighting. Yet it’s the actual foundation to a home’s style. I’ve worked in many different styles and with a number of suppliers over the years, and experience teaches me that floors, like shoes, deserve careful attention. It’s in the details, and choosing the right flooring requires careful consideration of the other structural and decorative elements in order to compose a cohesive whole.”
We have worked on several of Lynn’s signature homes. We have supplied reclaimed and new material for diverse styles: urban barn, organic contemporary, and traditional beach cottage. In addition to floors, we have supplied reclaimed beams and exterior siding. Lynn is selective with her professional trade associates and we feel honored to be a trusted supplier.

Mike Simms’ vision was to create a wine country local’s hangout with a casual atmosphere. The upscale space design is inviting and warm with extremely unique details from the light fixtures and the bar top to the wine storage and displays. The Vintage Wood Floor Company supplied materials for the siding and ceiling as well as reclaimed wine barrel wood from the Vintner Collection for the tabletops – keeping the theme of casual wine country. You can sample the menu while dining outside near the bocce ball court, in the courtyard next to the fountain, inside at the bar or in one of the “vignette” dining areas.

]]>Our new wood flooring is crafted with the same care as our reclaimed flooring. And if custom finishing is required, we offer low VOC finishes (Volatile Organic Compound) or no VOC finishes.
VOCs are emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids. VOCs either occurring in nature or manmade include a variety of chemicals, some of which may have short and long term health effects. Paints, sealants and lacquers can contain high concentrations (up to 10 times higher) of VOCs and can be harmful especially in indoor situations. Because there are no current standards established for non-industrial settings, we avoid them as much as possible and we offer low or no VOC finishes. In addition, because not all VOCs are toxic, we use products that contain no toxic air contaminants minimizing potentially hazardous pollutants. (Source: EPA)
Whatever the project, whatever the material, eco-friendly practices always take precedence over economic shortcuts.
